(Atlanta) Devonte McCoy gets dialysis three days a week. Recently, his car burned in an electrical fire. He hasn’t been working due to Covid, so he started a Go Fund Me page to try to reside some money to replace the car.
“Please help me by donating anything that you can, and I promise, that once I get well, I will be the one helping others. Anything left over will be donated to the American Kidney Foundation.”
He was featured on the local news and a couple who saw his story decided to donate one of their cars to him.
“I’m going to remember that for the rest of my life,” Devonte said.
