#GoodNews: Sisters Reunited After 50 Years Thanks To Covid

A pair of sisters in Nebraska who hadn’t seen each other in over 50 years have been reunited and it’s all because of COVID-19. Bev works as a medication aide at Dunklau Gardens rehab center and saw the name Doris Crippen on her patient list and immediately recognized it as the sister she had been trying to find for years.

The women share the same father, but had different mothers and were raised in separate homes. Both grew up in Nebraska and knew each other’s names. They spent years searching for each other, but never had any luck until now. Now they’re planning a family reunion where they can meet each other’s children and grandchildren.
