3 inmates in Georgia saw a deputy lose consciousness and fall to the concrete floor. He split his head open when he hit the ground. The inmates began pounding on their doors and shouting the deputy's name to try and wake him up. It worked. The deputy was able to reach the button to open the cell doors, then lost consciousness again. The inmates ran to the deputy and called for help.
"We didn't do anything for deputy Hobbs that he would not have did for us.”
"I didn't see him as an officer at that point. I just saw him as another human being going down and needing help.”
