An Ohio couple who had to cancel the large wedding they had been planning turned it into an act of kindness for their community.
Tyler and Melanie opted to have a small backyard ceremony instead and donated the food that would’ve been served at their reception to a local shelter for women and children.
After the newlyweds tied the knot in front of immediate family members, they headed over to Laura's Home, a shelter in Cleveland. The bride was still wearing her wedding gown and the groom was in his tux as they served fried chicken, green beans, salad and mac and cheese to 135 women and kids at the shelter.
