(Connecticut) 18-year old Justin Gavin was on a walk when an SUV drove past him. It was on fire and a little girl was hanging out the window.
"I'm yelling stop the car! Your car is on fire! Your car is on fire!"
He chased down the burning car, opened the driver's side door, and pulled the mother out first. As the flames grew larger, he pulled the three children in the back seat to safety - 9, 4 and 1-year-old, who was in a car seat. The SUV was fully engulfed by flames moments later.
"I was scared 'cause I didn't know whether the car was gonna blow up at that instant. Life is too short, so I just thought if that was me in that situation, I would want someone to help me.”
